The intersection of shrinking cities, youth involvement and historic perservation. A news clip about a previously abandoned historic house in Buffalo bought for $1 by Matt Newton. Under the City’s Urban Homestead Program which sells vacant city land for $1 on the condition the new owner will renovate it.

Do you think this is a solution to those famous shrinking cities like Detroit? Do we as young people have a different relationship to these cities (would you buy a home in one of these places?)
